Intensive Aphasia Therapy Program

We are happy to announce that the El Paso Aphasia Connection Center will soon be offering an Intensive Aphasia Therapy Program.  Our intensive program offers 3 hours of therapy, 5 days of week for 3 weeks for a total of 45 therapy hours.  Our program includes the following: 

  • Comprehensive evaluation of communication modalities (comprehension, expression, reading, and writing), aphasia -related quality of life assessment, and functional skills assessment

  • Evidence- based treatment techniques including sessions within a community setting to address life participation and social integration

  • Caregiver and family conversational coaching and training

  • Daily home exercise plan to promote communication

The El Paso Aphasia Connection Center may be able to assist with the cost of the program depending on current and available resources.
